Colts, Army SC, Moors SC, Badureliya SC and Air Force SC, the five clubs that won outright last week, will be looking to enhance their positions in the SLC Major League inter-club tournament for the second consecutive weekend of matches commencing today.
Colts are hosting Galle CC at Colts, Army SC host Panadura SC at Dombagoda, Moors SC will travel to Police Park to take on Police SC,
Badureliya SC will host Tamil Union at the Surrey Village, and Air Force SC will be the guest of NCC at NCC grounds.
Defending champions CCC will be looking to grab all points from Kalutara TC when they host them at CCC. CCC made the highest total – 523-8 to take first innings points from SSC last weekend. They were one of four clubs that topped the 500-run mark, the others being Colts, Saracens SC, and Moors SC.
Other matches that will be commencing today: Ace Capital CC v Negombo CC at BOI, Katunayake, Bloomfield v Saracens SC at Bloomfield, BRC v Kandy Customs SC at BRC, Lankan CC v SSC at R Premadasa Stadium, Nugegoda SWC v Chilaw Marians CC at De Soysa Stadium, Moratuwa, Ragama CC v Sebastianites at Thurstan grounds. – (ST)
