Ansell Lanka’s Jeevantha hits first century in MCA “F” Division 25 over League

Ansell Lanka, opening batsman, S.H. Jeevantha hogged the lime light, hitting first century, in the ongoing 6th Fairfirst Insurance Trophy – MCA “F” division, 25 over League Tournament 2024, which got underway on Saturday, 3 February.

Jeevantha carried his bat out after remaining 106 not out in 65 balls, inclusive of 04 sixes and 10 fours, vs. IPD Colombo.

Top order batsman, Pathum Ekanayake’s contribution of 61 not out in 50 balls, inclusive of 03 sixes and 04 fours, helped Ansell Lanka to further enhance the total, as they finished with 236 for 8 in 25 overs.

IPD Colombo in reply was restricted to 128 runs in 24.2 overs by DLD Sanjeeva, who finished with impressive figures of 5/17/4.

Ansell Lanka beat IPD Colombo by 107 runs at Pannipitiya ; Ansell Lanka 236 for 5 in 25 overs, IPD Colombo – 128 all out in 24.2 overs.

Dialog Axiata beat Softlogic Life by 6 wickets @ MCA Grounds; Softlogic Life 162 for 6 in 25 overs; Dialog Axiata 165 for 4 in 21.4 overs.

Asiri Hospitals beat CW Mackie by 6 wickets at Darley Road, CWM – 163 for 7 in 25 overs, Asiri Hospitals 165 for 4 in 21.2 overs.
