Anumi overall winner at Victoria Golf Resort Monthly Medal

Anumi Karunathilake, young golfer from Good Shepherd Convent Kandy, claimed the Overall Title at the Victoria Golf Resort (VGR) Monthly Medal which took place at their Club course in Rajawella recently.

Anumi’s impressive performance across all segments earned her the coveted overall winner title. In the Gents division another youngster, Musa Shariff emerged victorious in the Gross segment, showing his powerful swing and accuracy at his home course. Experienced  Sanjeewa Wickramanayake was pushed to the runner up position in the same category.

Meanwhile, Nisal Hettiarachchi secured the Gents Nett Winner title with a well-calculated performance while Nisith Nisith, a good badminton player who gave up the sport for golf, achieved a rare Hole in One at the seventh. On the Ladies side, Iman Sangani impressed with her precision and control, taking home the Gross Winner trophy while Rudrani Devidas was the runner up. Roshini Sangani, showing a strategic approach to the course, clinched the Ladies Nett Winner title while Linda Harris was the runner up adding another title in her career.
