Army Chief presents incentives to SLA Olympic qualifiers 

Sri Lanka Artillery Staff Sergeant Aruna Darshana and Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps Staff Sergeant Nadeesha Dilhani, who have qualified for the Paris Olympic Games, received financial support from the Army Commander Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage at the Army Headquarters yesterday. The Army Commander presented each athlete with an incentive of Rs. 1 million, congratulating them and expressing his hope that they will secure a medal for the nation and uphold the honour of Sri Lanka and the Army.
