Bringing an excellent addition to Sri Lanka Cricket’s fabulous trophy collection, the newly won Asia Cup was placed at the Sri Lanka Cricket Museum by the winning captain Dasun Shanaka before he departed with the team to Australia for the ICC T20 World Cup.

Along with the latest trophy, the Sri Lanka Cricket Museum houses six Asia other Cups depicting the impressive run the national team has achieved in the tournaments.

The trophies won in 1986, 1997, 2004, 2008, 2014, and 2022, are being displayed in a dedicated cabinet placed at the museum.

Sri Lanka Cricket wishes to invite the public to visit and witness the array of trophies, including the iconic 1996 World Cup and the 2014 T20 World Cup on display at the museum, which is situated at Maitland Place, adjoining Sri Lanka Cricket headquarters. It is open to the public from Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
