Sri Lanka with an uphill task against HK

Sri Lanka under 19 Rugby outfit will be facing an uphill task when they lock horns against the defending champions, Hong Kong in their second outing today at the Municipal grounds in Taipei.

Sri Lanka earlier in their first game was edged out by hosts Taipei 15/18 in a thriller while the Hong Kong outfit were shocked and beaten by Korea 13/17. So this second encounter is a must win encounter for both Hong Kong and Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka will play their last game against Korea on 18 December. On the same day Hong Kong will battle it out with the hosts Taipei.

Winner of this event will get their berth booked for 2019 Junior World Rugby Tournament (JWRT 2019) in Brazil as the Asian qualifier. (SJ)
