Dilen Sharika and Rajitha Buddika return to the pavilion after winning the game for Asiri Hospitals

Asiri Hospital Holdings, powered by a 36-ball 53 from Dilen Sharika which included five boundaries and three sixes and a 33-ball 47 from Rajitha Buddika which included eight boundaries and a six, overcame Cargills Bank by 10 wickets in their Mercantile Cricket Association ‘G’ Division first round game played at the MCA ground last Saturday.
Batting first, Cargills Bank were restricted to 117/8 in their 25 overs after a 60-run opening partnership by Lahiru Pathinayaka (35) and Sajith Kumara (21). Isuru Jayarathna captured three wickets while Kasun Ekanayaka and Sutheesh Kumara captured two wickets each.
In the first match played at the same venue in the morning, Deutsche Bank, powered by an unbeaten 80 runs from Yohan Fernando and 58 from Thivanka Wijerathne, followed by a four-wicket haul from Praveen Fernando, overcame Interpid Group by 60 runs
