Australia to play additional ODI on Sri Lankan tour

Australia will play two ODIs instead of one on their cricket tour of Sri Lanka starting later this month.

Sri Lanka Cricket states that the decision was taken in consultation with Cricket Australia.

The two ODIs will be played on 12 and 14 February at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium as day games as the floodlights are under repairs.

The tour will commence with the two Test matches in Galle followed by the two ODIs. Australia arrives in Sri Lanka on 24 January.

Australia’s revised itinerary:

29 January-2 February: 1st Test Match at Galle

6-10 February: 2nd Test Match at Galle

12 February: 1st ODI at R Premadasa Stadium (day game)

14 February: 2nd ODI at R Premadasa Stadium (day game)
