Bodyline, the official clothing sponsor for the Sri Lanka Athletics, felicitated the national team that brought glory to the nation at the recent Asian Games 2023 held in Hangzhou, China. Bodyline, who provided the training and game day kits worn by the athletes, welcomed the team to the Bodyline facility in Horana on Monday, 16 October 2023.
Bodyline’s partnership with SLAA goes back two years, with the company working with the country’s talented athletes, providing them with world-class performance wear, offering ease and comfort on the track, and helping them reach their potential with the support of elevated performance wear. The Sri Lankan athletes have been working with the Bodyline team since 2022, participating in the testing and validation process, known as the ‘runner to runner’ initiative, through which performance data and athlete feedback is used to develop innovative solutions for runners’ needs.
Bodyline Marketing and Business Development Director Dilshan Mohamed said: “The fantastic performance of our Sri Lankan athletes has been rewarding to our entire team at Bodyline. From our team members who work tirelessly on the factory floor to our design and development teams, we are all proud to see our kits being worn by our athletes and to see them perform so well on the track. We are excited to support the team all the way to the 2024 Paris Olympics.”
The cutting-edge capabilities at Bodyline, such as bonding and body mapping technology, combined with ultra-lightweight, moisture-wicking material, help athletes stay dry and comfortable while focusing on performing at their best at international events. “Our dedication to revolutionising running combines technology, athlete insights, and consumer collaboration, inspiring athletes worldwide. We see so much potential for sports in Sri Lanka and are dedicated to supporting and empowering our national sports teams, taking the ‘runner to runner’ concept forward,” said Mohamed.
MAS is also the proud clothing sponsors of the Sri Lanka Paralympic team since 2022.
