Botheju appointed Isipathana Head Coach

Former Isipathana, CR and national prop forward, Dhanushka Botheju will look after the Isipathana College rugby outfit as the Head Coach for the 2024/2025 rugby season.

Danushka earlier had coaching stints at S. Thomas, Joes, Zahira, DS and was with Saliya Kumara as the Greens Forwards Coach last season.

At club level, he has coached Havelock SC, CH and FC, Police SC and CR and FC mainly handling the forwards. He is a World Rugby level 2 qualified coach.

Botheju will have the former Vidyartha, Havelock SC, CR and FC and Sri Lions player, Chanaka Chandimal as the Backs Coach for the Greens. They will need to defend the President Trophy Knock out and do one step better to get hold of the League which they ended second best last season.
