Buddhima Piyarathne to the Central Hills

Former D S Senanayake, Navy SC, and National sevens player, Buddhima Piyarathne will cross over to Kandy Sports Club for the 2019/2020 season, which will kick off on 1 December when they host Air Force at Nittawela Rugby Stadium.

One of the automatic choices in the shorter version of the game, Buddhima will add strength to the Up Country outfit, who will defend the league title this year around. Led by Nigel Ratwatte, Kandy already have got their home town boys, Tharinda Ratwatte and Kavindu Perera, playing for them this season.
