Buddy Reid inducted to Hall of Fame by TTA

Buddy Reid, the former Sri Lanka’s double international, who captained the country at cricket and table tennis and represented Australia at table tennis in later years has been added to the Hall of Fame by Table Tennis Australia.

In his twilight years, Reid had an amazing run. He won the Victorian State Over-60 singles and doubles, the Australian National Over-65 singles and doubles, represented Australia in a Table Tennis Test match against New Zealand and won a silver medal in the Over- 65 doubles at the World Championships. Subsequently, in 2018 he became the World TT Doubles Champion for Over-75 years while claiming the bronze medal in the singles event.
