CBL Group records second victory in MCA ‘G’ Division

The CBL Group team recorded the second victory in MCA ‘G’ Division match played at the Army grounds, Panagoda, last Saturday against the RR Donnelley Team.

The Donnelley team won the toss and elected to bat.

Donnelly scored 167/9 in 25 overs.

Priyankara Brahmana – 52, Mohommed Asmi – 31, Poorna Lakman – 21,

Kosala Madusanka – 4/22, Chandrika Managamage – 2/36

In reply, the CBL Team scored 169/7 in 24.1 overs.

Malith Asanka – 63, Sumudu Madushan – 26, Viduranga Pushpamal – 24.

Earlier, the CBL Group team secured a convincing four-wicket win over CEAT Tyre International. The CBL Group team is coached by former St. Anthony’s Kandy Cricketer Shammi Karunatane.
