CH & FC and Sri Lanka Air Force will lock horns on 13 August in an exhibition rugby encounter at the revamped Maligapitiya ground in Kurunegala. These two teams will lock horns once again in a second exhibition game in Ratmalana a week later. 

Both teams will get the necessary approval from the Health and Sports Ministries along with the SLR green light. All players and officials will go through the necessary PCR tests. These two events are tipped to be telecast through one of the leading tv channels in the country. No spectators will be allowed for these two encounters.

The last time a club rugby encounter took place in Sri Lanka was in February 2020.
