Soyuru Anthony of CH on an attacking mode

CH and FC edged out Police SC by 25 points (4 tries, 1 conversion, 1 penalty) to 22 points (3 tries, 2 conversions, 1 penalty) win in their Nippon Paint Rugby League 2022 encounter which took place at the Race Course ground yesterday.
At the short breather, scores were 5/5.
CH and FC tries were scored by Prasad Madushanka (2), Avantha Lee, and Shehan Dias. Rohitha Rajapakse did the try conversion while Hirusha Sampath put over the solitary penalty.
For the Cops, their tries were scored by Mohan Wimalaratne, Hashan Fernando, and Adeesha Rashmika. Manilka Ruberu and Yohan Peiris did the kicking duties for the Cops.
Referee was Ishanka Abeykoon.
At present Kandy SC, Havelock SC, and CH and FC have booked their top four qualifications with either Air Force or Police to fill the fourth vacant position.
Two more encounters are to be played next weekend. Police will lock horns with Army while two unbeaten teams, Kandy SC and Havies will play at Nittawela.
