But life was not so easy for the Park Club after having a comfortable 40 plus points at home, they went to bed early as they started relaxing on the lead gained. The experienced Soldier Sudaraka Dikkumbura was outstanding both in defence and in attack. His up and under kicks were a treat to watch and he put the Havies players under severe pressure in collection in tough and dark ground conditions. Lasantha Kumara and Kaveen Perera too stood out for the Soldiers. Meanwhile for Havies Azmir Fajudeen their skipper, Samuel Maduwantha and Shehan Diaz played their hearts out.

Bonus point win for CH
CH continued their winning streak and their contention for the Cup segment when they beat Sri Lanka Navy Sports Club 34/14 collecting a bonus point as well.
The short breather winners led 19/7
With this win CH have won two of their games earlier, shocking the Havies. They lost out their first game to Kandy in the Central Hills. Coached by Veteran, Sanath Martis they too looked a threatening side to put their name forward to play in the Cup segment. (SJ)
