CMCA to take on Sydney Lions tomorrow

The Colombo Masters Cricket Association (CMCA) Over-50 team will take on the Sydney Lions from Australia in a 35-over cricket encounter tomorrow at the P. Sara Oval commencing at 10.30 a.m.

The CMCA team has just completed a very successful tour to Malaysia where they won all their matches. The Sydney Lions meanwhile have toured Sri Lanka over the years, so a keenly contested veterans’ cricket encounter is on the cards. 

The CMCA team is captained by former Royalist Dharsha Abeywardena while the Sydney Lions is also led by a former Royalists Sam Lawton.
