Commercial Bank “B”, opening batsman, Chamila Daminda and Linea Aqua, Mangala Pradeep hit centuries, in the ongoing 5th Fairfirst Insurance Trophy – MCA “F” division 25 Over League Tournament 2023, continued last weekend
Chamila Daminda carried his bat out after scoring a hurricane 152 not out in 84 balls, inclusive of 10 sixes and 13 fours, as Commercial Bank “B” piled up 227 for 2 in 25 overs against new comers, Certis Lanka, who were bundled out for 78 runs in 18.3 overs by a mesmerising spell of bowling by Anjana Jayaratne (04 overs, 19 runs, 06 wickets)
Linea Aqua Mangala Pradeep scored 110 in 77 balls, hitting 14 sixes and equal number of fours, against Asiri Hospitals; Linea Aqua, went on to win by 32 runs.
The tournament will be continued during the long weekend from 4 to 6 March with a match card of 18 half day matches.
