CR beat Havies

CR & FC not only beat their traditional rivals Havelock Sports Club but also managed to win the Mathysz Trophy with an aggregate of 52 points to 47.

At the short breather Red Shirts led 13/3.

CR tries were scored by Janidu Dilshan (two), Omalka Gunaratne, Reza Rafaideen, and Dinuk Amarasinghe. Reza Mubarak with the conversions while Mursheed Zubair kicked the penalty for the Longdon Place club.

For Havies their tries were scored by Shavkht Lahir, Vimukthi Rahulawith with the conversions taken by Santhush Algama and penalty put over by Prince Chamara. CR & FC and National XV-a-side skipper should be mindful of his yellow card repeats which are almost numbered as same the games played so far.
