Sharaka Werella on a brave move against CR
CR and FC continued their winning form in the Nippon Rugby league when they beat Sri Lanka Air Force 29/24 at Ratmalana last evening.
At the short breather winners led 24/10.
CR drew first blood through Lasindu Ishan. A few minutes later Air Force reduced the gap through their scrum half, Nuwan Perera penalty. Gemunu Chethiya broke Air Force defence through a ghosting move which ended in a try. Chathura Seneviratne was on target with the kick at goal.
Nuwan Perera scored and converted the try to reduce the gap to 2 points favouring Red Shirts which stood at 12/10. Gemun Chethiya and Mursheed Doray tries and conversion by Thenuka Nanayakkara took the scores to 24/10 at the short breather.
After the short breather CR scored their try through Thenuka Nanayakkara. Air Force tries were scored through Dilan Fernando Raveesha Ruvhirantha.
