CR & FC pulled off a close 38/33 win over the CH & FC at Racecourse. But this result was not sufficient to overtake CH who already secured the number three position in the league, who will face Army in the Clifford Cup knock out rugby.
At the short breather, CR led 23/12.
CR scored their tries through Tharinda Ratwatte (two), Reza Rafaideen (two) and Wajeed Fahmy with two conversions and three penalties being put over by Tharinda Ratwatte who had a grand outing for the Longdon Place club who ended on number four.
For CH, their tries were scored by Sudam Sooriyarachchi, Avishka Lee, Pulasti Dissanayake, Sudharshana Muthuthanthri and Nishon Perera with Samuel Maduwantha doing the kicking duties.
