Central Industries holds its sports day

• Overall winner – Typhoon House

Central Industries Plc, which produces Sri Lanka’s leading water pipe and accessory brand National PVC and Krypton electrical switches and sockets, had its annual sports fiesta at the Colts Grounds, Colombo headed by CEO Central Industries Mayura Rupathunga.

The event was organised by the welfare department of the company with the support of the human resources department.

Employees from the departments of administration, human resources, finance, marketing, research and development, IT, manufacturing, and logistics participated in sporting events representing three houses – Typhoon, Tornado, and Hurricane.

The sports festival consisted of a six-a-side cricket match, athletics, and team building events.

Typhoon House clinched the overall championship of the annual sporting event.
