Central Province Football: Kingswood champions in tandem

Kingswood College stamped their class when they accounted for the Central Province School Games Under-16 Football Championship for the second year in tandem at the Bogambara Stadium in Kandy recently.

The outfit was coached by S.A. Weerasinghe and Kosala Navaratne. The Randles Hill School will represent Central Province at the National School Games.

Kingswood beat St. Andrew’s College Gampola 2/0, Zahira College Gampola 2/1, and Benhill International School by penalties (FT - 1/1) (Penalties 4/1).

In the final, they beat Kalugamuwa Central College by penalties (FT - 1/1) (Penalties 5/3). - SJ
