Ceylon Jewelry Manufacturers Annual Cricket Fiesta

Ceylon Jewelry Manufacturers Ltd (CJM), a leading jewellery manufacturer and exporter and one of the certified factories in Sri Lanka by the responsible Jewellery Council of the United States of America. 

CJM recently organised its Annual Cricket Fiesta at Modarawila Industrial ground as a part of their annual employee engagement to strengthen the fellowship between employees and team culture. 

Whilst there were four competing teams, the Diamond Warriors emerged victorious, claiming the title. The CJM Lions put up a strong fight to claim the runners-up. Chathura Dilan from the setting section was honoured as the Man of the series, showcasing outstanding all-round performance. Other notable recognition included Dulaj Anuradha as the Best Bowler, Dhanushka Thilakaratha as the Best Batsman, and Sashini Weerasooriya as the Woman of the series. 

Industrialists Association, Modarawila President Moin Zoomar, who is also the General Manager of Diamond Cutters Ltd graced the occasion as the Chief Guest for the event. Additionally, the occasion was graced by the presence of Ceylon Jewelry Manufacturers Director Sales and Marketing Suhayl Sangani and General Manager Hussain Mohideen Buhary.

Beyond the competition, the cricket fiesta proved to be a platform for fostering camaraderie and team building within the CJM family, showcasing not only the employees’ sporting talents but also their collaborative spirit. As a company committed to excellence and having been recently awarded with the Gold Title by National Chamber of Exporters under the large export segment, the CJM continues to play a vital role in the jewellery industry, both locally and internationally.
