  • Stage set for Ceylon Masters Badminton Championships
  • Entries close on 16 June

The Ceylon Masters Badminton Championship, organised by the esteemed Ceylon Masters Badminton Association, is set to showcase exhilarating action when the popular tournament returns on 24 June, it was revealed on Tuesday.

The two-day championship which is set to take place at the state-of-the-art New Saniro Airport Sports Complex in Naiwala, will bring together seasoned masters players from across the country. 

Participants will battle it out in various categories, including men’s and women’s singles, doubles, and mixed doubles, while the winners will be rewarded with valuable cash prizes, apart from the medals, making the competition even more enticing.

During a press conference held on Tuesday, the organisers encouraged the players to submit their entries promptly, as the deadline for registrations is set for 16 June 2400HRS. The Ceylon Masters Badminton Association is expecting a high level of participation, reflecting the growing interest in badminton among master players in the country.

As the anticipation builds, the organisers also highlighted that a 10% discount on entry fees will apply for Ceylon Masters Badminton Association members.
