Chalitha races to top spot at Golf Ranking Championship 2024 Day 3

Chalitha Pushpika representing Sri Lanka Navy made a sensational climb from number 4 to top position end of day 3 in the Golf Ranking Championship 2024 at the serene country club in Rajawella yesterday.

Chalitha delivering a top class performance with a brilliant 2 under round. His remarkable display puts him to the top of the leader board with a total score of 219.

Haroon Aslam, who also showed his form in his home course with an impressive even par round, securing a total score of 220 and positioning himself as a strong contender for the championship title.

However, the day unfolds with its share of surprises and challenges. Day 2 leader Uchitha Ranasinghe  faced a  sudden downturn, struggling through a torrid 6 over round and sliding to 3rd place with a total score of 224.

Vijitha Bandara, another promising contender, experiences a setback with a disappointing performance, slipping to 4th place with a total score of 225. 

The young talent, Yannik, maintains his position in 5th place despite facing hurdles, concluding the day with a total score of 227.

A probable strong comeback by Haroon Aslam or Uchitha Ranasinghe is a high possibility. The day 4 which is the final day will take place today at the Victoria Golf Resort in Rajawella.
