Champs Kalutara PCC skipper Dayaratne is Player of the Final

The SLC Invitational Club Under-23 tournament concluded with the final taking place at the CCC grounds on Sunday where Kalutara PCC emerged champions beating Kandy CC by two wickets.

As champions Kalutara PCC received Rs. 250,000 as prize money and Kandy CC received Rs. 150,000 as runner-up.

Kalutara PCC captain Kanika Dayaratne won the Player of the Final award of Rs. 25,000, while Gavin Boteju of Moratuwa SC took the Rs. 75,000 Player of the Tournament award.

The Best Batsman’s and Best Bowler’s awards of Rs. 50,000 each were won by Shehan Rashmika (Rio SC) and Isuru Dhananjaya (Malay CC) respectively.

The awards were distributed by SLC Senior Manager Cricket Administration Suresh Bulankulame.
