Singer Schools Rugby League 2019 will once again receive the clearance from the Ministries of Sports, Defence and Education to commence their second round encounters as scheduled on 31 May. Final approval was given yesterday after the meeting with the principals of the respective schools.

The Colombo games are to be played at the Sugathadasa Stadium while the Kandy games will be staged at the Bogambara Stadium. Now the tournament will proceed with the home team hosting as scheduled earlier. If any of the schools is unable to find a ground, then the Sugathadasa Stadium and Bogambara Stadium will be provided for a nominal fee.

Tight security will be provided at all venues where the games are to be played.
