Clifford and Morley win Victoria Golf Resort Monthly Medal

Clifford Fernando accounted for the Nett win in the Monthly Medal at VGR

Clifford Fernando and Morley both won the Victoria Golf Resort’s Nett event at the Monthly Medal event for December 2022 which took place at their Club course in Rajawella recently.

The former Trinity skipper Clifford was in sensational form getting in to the game very recently showed his powerful and accurate hard-hitting shots. He scored a Nett of 68 while the Runner-up in the event was P. Karunathilake who scored 70. 

Meanwhile in the Ladies event, P. Morley continued her success at Victoria with a score of 72 winning the Nett event pushing Linda Harris to runner-up position who scored 74.

In the Gross event, young golfing sensation Haroon Aslam returning from USA on short holiday showed his class winning the vent with a score of 74 while Y. Asakawa was pushed to second position with a score of 84. Ahalya Rajan won the Ladies’ event while Melanie Bond was Runner-up in the Gross event.
