Sri Lanka Navy Sports Club pulled off a close 24/14 win over Sri Lanka Air Force at Welisara.

At the short breather Air Force led 14/12.

Charith Silva opened scoring for the home team followed by the second one by Radheesha Seneviratne, the cracking number 8. Isuru Kongahage added the two points. Air Force replied with two quick tries through Parakkrama Ratnayake with Gayanatha Iddamalagoda added the four points with kick at goal.

After the turn around Sailors skipper, Richie Darmapala went over for a try and lead to 19/14. Nirosh Perera scored the last home team try.
