CMCA successfully ended the second tour of Malaysia, winning all four matches against four veterans clubs in Kuala Lumpur. The tour was organised by Sashriya Lanka Ltd.
Match No. 1 CMCA vs SCA Masters Selection XI T30
The first match at S.S.U. Club Aman grounds with SCA Masters Selection XI comprise of ex-Malaysian national side Captain Mervinder Singh and a few league players. CMCA won the toss decided to bat. 2 for 13, in 4 overs in came Lasantha Perera and Johann Peiris shared an 84 runs partnership to steady the innings. Skipper Dharsha Abeywardena and Pujitha Gunawardena too had a 58 runs partnership and the innings ended at 197 for 7.
In reply SCA masters’ 1 for 2 in the first over and 34 runs partnership in 3 overs with some power hitting by Usman Hashmi 22 in 11 balls made steady the run chase. Pujitha Gunawardena 5 overs 1 for 16 and Johhan Peiris 6 overs 2 for 22 put the brakes on the scoring rate. At the latter Mervindra Singh and Kugan Visvanathan had a 65 runs partnership yet fell short of the target by 32 runs. Player of the match Johann Peiris.

Match No. 2 CMCA vs. Malaysian Malay Veterans CC T30
MM Veterans won the toss decided to bat and got off to a flying start for 1 for 90 and after 30 overs the score stood at 194 for 5. Yohhan Peiris was picked up 3 for 33. In reply CMCA were 3 for 53. Udaya Yatawara 42 held the innings along with Rohan Perera 45 retd. Once again Skipper Dharsha Abeywardena was 37 not out and Pujitha Gunawardena 23 took CMCA to the target of 195 for 5 in 27 overs

CMCA won by 4 wickets. MM Veterans CC won the toss ending up 123 for 7 in 20 overs. Pujitha Gunawadena 3 for 9 and Chrishanth De Silva 2 for 20 were the pick of the bowlers. In reply Colombo Masters scored 124 runs in 18 overs with valuable contribution from Lalith Wijeratne 34 retd, Udaya Yatawara 17n.o. Rohan Perera 14 retd, Asoka Wickramaratne 12 and Hemasiri Nanaykara 12.
