Commonwealth Sevens training to commence shortly

The Commonwealth Rugby Sevens training for the selected 20 players each from the Men’s and Women’s outfits will commence shortly. 

Commonwealth Rugby Sevens which will take place in Birmingham, England in end July 2022, will see Sri Lanka locking horns without any absence from the inception in 1998, Malaysia. 

SLR has appointed Nilfer Ibrahim for the Men’s and Saliya Kumara for the Women’s as their Head Coaching staff. The final touring 12 from each team will be selected after the training sessions which is expected to continue till mid July 2022.
