The central contract dispute between Sri Lanka Cricket and the 38 players continued even after the Sri Lanka team returned from a tour of England yesterday.

The Daily FT learns that although the majority of the players were keen to sign the central contracts after being issued their individual player performances SLC and the Technical Advisory Committee were not prepared to hand the central contracts for signing.

The white ball series between Sri Lanka and India begins on 13 July. (ST)
