D.S.S. signs off rugby season on a high note

National Schools Rugby Sevens 2023

D.S. Senanayake College ended the 2023 rugby season on a very positive note when they beat Zahira College 28/5 in the All-Island Rugby Sevens Championship at the National Youth Games 2023, which took place in Kurunegala. The tournament was organised by the Education Ministry.

D.S.S. beat Dharmaraja in the first semi-final, while Zahira beat Maliyadeva in the second semi-final. Jayathu Rajarathna led the D.S.S. outfit. Asela Deshapriya is the Head Coach. – (SJ)
