DPGC Challenge Trophy MCA E Division match results

The 17th David Pieris Group of Companies sponsored ‘DPGC’ Challenge Trophy, Mercantile Cricket Association ‘E’ division 25 Over League Tournament 2019 Group stage came to a conclusion last weekend, 23 and 24 March.

In the last batch of matches, Nawaloka Hospitals completed their group quota of matches with their fifth win on the trot, beating DPMC ‘B’ by 55 runs.

Maliban, too finished on a winning note registering their fifth successive win, beating MAS Active by nine wkts.

The weekend’s batting honours went to Shannon Patterson from HSBC ‘B’ (105 vs. Brandix  Essentials), Nirushan Ramachandra from Sri Lanka Telecom (86  vs. MAS Active and 74 vs. AIA Insurance),  Nishika de Silva from HSBC ‘B’  (81  vs. Akbar Bros); the bowling top spot went to Lalith Deshan from Ansell Lanka, who bagged 5 for 08 Vs. Group M Media
