Damith Dissnayake is expected to lead the outfit in today’s game. Recently concluded Asian Sevens 2017 national players from Kandy SC, Dhanushka Ranjan, Dhanushka Dyan, Richard Dharmapala, Srinarth Sooriyabandara and Jason Dissnayake all will be in action this week-end for the Up Country club. Both Thilina Wijesinghe and Oshan Perera too will be out due to their Company rugby tournament in Colombo.
Singapore, who were under intense training back home, will be having their best squad for this tour which is also a yard stick for selections for next month’s Asian Rugby Championship (ARC) Division II which will take place in Taipei. The four team event will see Singapore, India, Taipei and Thailand battling it out for the ARC Division I promotion in 2018.
