CR and FC will be hosting their traditional rivals CH and FC in their opening encounter, which will be played at Longdon Place on 10 November.
CR and FC, who ended fifth at the last tournament, will be fielding one of the Samoan players (Joseph) for this vital encounter. CR will be led by Kavindu Perera with some outstanding players in their group, such as Kevin Dixon, Omalka Gunaratne, Shemal Wijesekera, Janidu Dilshan, Gemunu Cheethiya, Harith Bandara, Sambandapermu and Rahul De Silva. They will be coached by Nilfer Ibrahim.
Meanwhile, CH and FC will be under Yoshitha Rajapakse, who has ample talent, and is experienced and young. Hirantha Perera, Sudharshana Muthuthanthri, Sudam Soooriyarachchi, Naveen Henakankanamge and Lee Keegale are set to bring back the winning ways for the club which dominated club rugby two decades ago.
CH is coached by Ronny Ibrahim.
