Dialog Schools Rugby 7s live on Dialog Television

• All games will be broadcast live on Dialog Television channel 140, Dialog ViU, ThePapare.com and Asia Rugby Facebook page 

Due to the present COVID-19 pandemic, the Dialog Schools Rugby 7s tourney will be played behind closed doors, hence as the principal sponsor, Dialog Axiata PLC has made arrangements to broadcast the tournament live on Dialog Television – Channel 140, Dialog ViU,Thepapare.com and also on the Asia Rugby FB page in the interest of all present and old boys, parents, supporters, well-wishers and the Sri Lanka’s rugby-loving community as the tournament will played behind closed doors.

Well-wishers will also get the opportunity to vote for the most popular team from each province on their respective match days by visiting dlg.lk/mostpopular, the winning team will be announced before the Cup Final in each province and will be rewarded with a Rs. 50,000 gift voucher to purchase sports equipment.

Western, Central, North-Western and Southern provinces will be playing the tourney in a group format, with the top finishers from the groups challenging one another in the knockout stage, while the Sabaragamuwa teams will be playing each other in a league structure to decide the provincial champion.

Western Province games will be played on 18 and 19 December at the Royal College Sports Complex, Central Province games will be played on 27 December at the Pallekelle Grounds, Kandy, North Western games will be played on 28 December at the Maliyadewa College Grounds, Kurunegala, the Sabaragamuwa Province games will be played on 30 December at the Ruwanwella Public Grounds, and the Southern Province games will be played on 31 December at the Maliyadewa College Grounds, Kurunegala. 

Transmission for all games will commence from 8:50 a.m. onwards.
