Peterites, the defending league champions, not only ended round one undefeated but also collected a bonus point in the Central Hills as well.
Two Yumeth Shihara tries plus one try by Salith Gallage and accurate conversions by Rahul Peter took the visitors to a comfortable 21/3 lead at the short breather. Vidyartha put over a solitary penalty through Rusith Thomdhya.
