Dialog powered National Para Athletics Championship concludes successfully

The 2024 Dialog powered National Para Athletics Championship concluded successfully, with the Sri Lanka Army Light Infantry Sports Club securing the senior men’s championship and the Monaragala Wellassa Sports Club clinching the senior women’s championship.

The National Paralympic Committee (NPC) of Sri Lanka organised this premier event on 11 and 12 May at the Diyagama Mahinda Rajapaksa Stadium. The championship brought together over 600 athletes from more than 45 sports clubs affiliated with the NPC across various provinces of the country. It provided a platform for athletes from three disability groups, namely men and women with visual impairments, physical impairments and intellectual disabilities, to showcase their talents.
