Dream debut for Fairfirst Insurance with MCA Super Premier League win

Fairfirst Insurance Ltd., made a dream debut, in the 30th Singer-MCA Super Premier League, crowned as the new league winner 2023.The first segment of the tournament, the “league” came to a close, with the last batch of four matches played on Sunday, 30 April, thus completing 28 matches. (08 teams, playing in a single group round-robin)

The league came to a conclusion on a disappointing note, as two matches were abandoned without a ball being bowled; in the two games that survived the weather, Fairfirst Insurance scored their sixth win, beating BBK Partnership by 06 wickets and the 2022 league winner, CDB Finance, scored their fourth win, beating John Keells by 04 wickets.
