Sri Lanka players continued to impress in the ongoing Dubai T10 league with all-rounder Chamika Karunaratne playing a crucial role in bowling his team New York Strikers to victory over Bangla Tigers.

Karunaratne picked up the Player of the Match award for his figures of 3/22 in restraining Bangla Tigers to a score of 101-7. Among his victims were David Miller, Daniel Sams and Dasun Shanaka.

Another Sri Lankan player Kusal Mendis was the second top scorer for Bangla Tigers with 29 off 12 balls.

New York Strikers knocked the required runs off in 7.4 overs to win by eight wickets with Sri Lankan opener Kusal Perera scoring an undefeated 50 off 20 balls (7 fours, 2 sixes).
