Eight Lankan cricketers to feature in Abu Dhabi T10 league

Eight Sri Lankan cricketers will feature in the fifth edition of the Abu Dhabi T10 league which will be held in November-December in Abu Dhabi.

The player draft held on Thursday saw four Sri Lankan players Dushmantha Chameera, Maheesh Theekshana, Dhananjaya Lakshan, Chamika Karunaratne all being signed up by Marata Arabians, the 2019 champions.

Two other Sri Lankan players Isuru Udana (who has retired from international cricket) and Matheesha Pathirana were brought by Bangla Tigers and another Sri Lankan player who has also retired from international cricket Upul Tharanga was taken by Northern Warriors who will be defending the title.

Wanindu Hasaranga was earlier retained by Deccan Gladiators.
