Ceylinco General Insurance, LOLC, Stafford Motors, Allianz Insurance, Amana Takaful, Abans Group, Virtusa and Hayleys Group “B”, advanced to the Quarter Finals in the 20th David Pieris Group of Companies sponsored, “DPGC” Challenge Trophy - MCA “E” division 25 - Over League Tournament 2023, continued last week end, 21 and 22 January.

1st PQF /DSS/Morning: Ceylinco General Insurance beat HSBC “A” by 3 wickets; HSBC “A”- 156/6 (25), Ceylinco - 158/7(24.2)
2nd PQF/DSS/Afternoon: LOLC beat Akbar Bros. by 27 runs; LOLC-149/8 (25), Akbar Bros -122 (25)
3rd PQF/Thurstan /Morning: Stafford Motors beat Janashakthi Insurance by 10 wickets; Janashakthi-73 (22.3), Stafford Motors - 76/0 (11.1)
4th PQF /Thurstan /Afternoon: Allianz Insurance beat Teejay Lanka by 4 wickets; Teejay Lanka - 134/7 (25), Allianz Insurance - 136/6 (23.4)
5th PQF / Thurstan/Morning: Amana Takaful beat SSK Holdings by 68 runs; Amana Takaful - 192/7 (25), SSKH - 124/9 (25).
6th PQF /Thurstan / afternoon: Abans Group beat John Keels “B” by 1 wicket; John Keells “B”- 80 (23.2), Abans - 81/9 (24.3)
7th PQF /MCA /Morning: Virtusa beat Brandix Essentials by 29 runs; Virtusa -208/8 (25), Brandix -179/7 (25)
8th PQF/MCA /Afternoon: Hayleys Group “B” beat Pizza Hut by 81 runs; Hayleys “B”-177/9 (25), Pizza Hut - 96 (21.1)
The tournament will be continued with the Quarter finals, this weekend, 28th and 29th January.

The Semi-Finals are scheduled for 5th February at the MCA and Thurstan College grounds.
