Elephant House and Keells Krest will once again delight fans at this year’s Royal-Thomian “Battle of the Blues” Big Match, which will be played between Royal College and S. Thomas’ College on 7, 8 and 9 March at the SSC Grounds in Colombo

The Royal-Thomian “Battle of the Blues”, now in its 140th year, is the world’s second longest-running, uninterrupted school cricketing encounter. As long-time supporters of this Big Match, Elephant House and Keells Krest will support this fine tradition as its official “Food, Beverage and Ice Cream Partner” in 2019.

Elephant House itself is backed by 150 years of company tradition; continuing to hold true to its mission of refreshing all Sri Lankans with a range of high-quality products embracing a ‘goodness of life’ philosophy. New beverages added to the product portfolio include the refreshing Lemoki, the FitO fruit drink range and newcomers Elephant House Water and Elephant House Milk, while ice creams on offer consist of the wholesome and creamy Wonder range, including the new Wonder Berry Cone, Wonder Berry Stick and Wonder Choc Shock, as well as the premium Imorich range and innovative flavours such as Major Max range and Cream Soda Ice. These ice cream flavours are produced at the recently opened Elephant House factory in Seethawaka, which has doubled Elephant House’s existing ice cream production volume.

At the same time, Keells Krest offers superior quality processed meat products and snacks that are widely loved and trusted by Sri Lankans for over three decades as a result of their unique taste, convenience and wholesome goodness.

As one of the Big Match’s longest-standing sponsorships, the Elephant House and Keells Krest partnership with the Royal-Thomian “Battle of the Blues” is very special for all parties. Year after year this results in a lot of planning by Elephant House and Keells Krest to ensure that the full range of products are rolled out to adequately refresh and cater to large crowds of hungry and thirsty cricket fans, attending these exciting three days of cricket. This is important because everyone from the cricketers and their fellow schoolboys, to Old Boys, parents and guests have, over many, many years, continued to place their trust in Elephant House and Keells Krest to guarantee that their “Battle of the Blues” stays spectacular.
