Entries now open for Travel Trade Sports Club Pool Championship

The 8th edition of the Travel Trade Sports Club Pool Tournament 2024, sponsored by Heaven’s Edge and Ripon Grand Hill, by EHI Hotels and Resorts will be held on Saturday, 15 June, at the Excell World Pool Parlour, Darley Road, commencing 10 a.m.

For the first time women will also participate in the tournament along with the men.

Entries have been invited from the 180 strong TTSC Members and will close on Wednesday, 12 June at 3 p.m. with Gayani Karunaratne, C/o Aitken Spence Travels 04th Floor, Vauxhall Tower II, Vauxhall Street, Colombo 2.

In the previous tournament held on 28 April 2023, at the Romanz Pool Parlour, Bambalapitiya, where 36 men’s players participated, M.S. Shifan from Ramada Colombo won the “Cup” Championship; Danushan Lakshamanan from Esna Travels won the “Plate”; Gayan Mayadunne from Aitken Spence Travels won the “Bowl” and Zain Nawaz from Interprid won the “Shield”.
