Rahul Radesh reacts after scoring his century

Former star cricketer of the British School in Colombo, Rahul Radesh achieved a personal milestone when he recorded his maiden First-Class (FC) hundred in India’s Ranji Trophy Cricket Tournament.

The dynamic wicket-keeper batsman, representing Hyderabad, scored exactly 100 in their drawn Elite Group ‘B’ match against Rajasthan at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.

The 21-year-old stylish left-hander struck seven boundaries during his 268-ball innings as Hyderabad amassed a formidable 410 in their first innings after having elected to bat first.

Rahul played a pivotal role when he initially represented the British School in Colombo and had the opportunity of leading the side in all group categories under the guidance of former Coach Aruna Batapolaarachchi.

Rahul was instrumental in spearheading the British School towards winning the coveted Inter-International Schools Under-17 Tournament twice in 2018 and 2019 while they were runners-up in 2020.
