Expolanka wins Mercantile Football crown

Expolanka Group emerged as the unbeaten winner in the Mercantile Football Association (MFA) Division I League Tournament 2022.

Four teams in a single Group participated in Division I League, where Expolanka beat Ceylinco Insurance 3/2, beat HNB 2/0 and beat Akbar Bros 1/0.

Akbar Brothers, finished as runners-up.

The Division II segment had 14 teams, pooled into four groups. 

Fairfirst Insurance won the Division II title with a comprehensive 5/0 win over No-Limit in the Final concluded on 21st December at Baddegana (H/T -1-Nil) 

In the Semi Finals, Fairfirst Insurance beat Dialog Axiata 5/0 (H/T 2-Nil); No Limit beat LOLC 2/0 (H/T 1-0)
