Faizal to coach Zahira at Rugby

Former Vidyartha and Kandy SC player Mohamed Faizal will be the Head Coach of the Zahira Under-18 rugby outfit for the 2018/2019 rugby season.

Faizal represented Vidyartha in 1990-1992 and later on represented the upcountry club. He moved over to refereeing and then coaching. He was with the Antonians from 1999 to 2003 before crossing over to Vidyartha for the next four years. He was at Trinity from 2011 to 2016 taking the juniors to many trophy wins.

His last appointment was with the Rajans Under-18 outfit.
