Fazil Marija off to Ireland for Coaching

Former Kingswood, Sri Lanka Sevens and fifteens player and skipper and current Sri Lanka Youth Assistant Coach Fazil Marija will be leaving to Ireland in two days for a coaching stint for two weeks before the inter-club rugby season starts in November.

He will be the assistant coach of the defending League and Clifford Cup champions Kandy SC under Sean Wijesinghe.  Fazil also coached Kandy SC at the Inter-club sevens first leg at Race Course. Fazil is tipped to take over the coaching duties from Sean Wijesinghe, who will be migrating to Canada next year. (SJ)
